It was Miraculous!

Science as it exists now has no ability to determine how, or even when the universe was created because it was created miraculously! And, anything that is created miraculously gives the appearance of and shows evidence of having been created by natural processes in natural time sequences when observed with natural instruments. This evidence is ubiquitous and is present even in microscopic detail.

So, there is no scientific instrument or procedure that can reveal its true origin, because all scientific instruments and procedures are specifically designed to examine only natural entities, powers, and principles.

The universe WAS NOT created by natural processes. It was a miracle. If you don't believe it was a miracle, then why bother believing in a miracle working God? If you do believe the Bible, then you obviously must believe it was a miracle.

This truth will set your mind free! Distant star light is no problem for young earth creationists! We believe in miracles! No problem! We don't need to explain how God did it because WE CAN'T! When our arrogance gets to the place that we think we can explain "how" miracles work, we have left entirely the realm of reason.

There is no "science" that can explain the miracles of God! This is an obnoxious thought! If we can explain God in scientific terms, then we have become God and God has become a god.

God vs the Laws of Nature
People unknowingly exalt man above God because they don’t understand where the “Laws of Nature” came from:

• They misinterpret scripture because of this।
• They place limits on God’s power।
• They fall for false theories।

Understanding Where the Laws of Nature Came From.
-With respect to the fields of scientific discovery:

• What is a Hypothesis?
• What is a Theory?
• What is a Law?

hypothesis, possibility, theory (a tentative insight into the natural world; a concept that is not yet verified but that if true would explain certain facts or phenomena) "a scientific hypothesis that survives experimental testing becomes a scientific theory"; "he proposed a fresh theory of alkalis that later was accepted in chemical practices"

As you can see from the definition above, a hypothesis is the beginning stage for a theory. Other qualified persons have not yet verified it. If others are able to verify it, by repeating the same experiments and achieving the same results, or if predictions made by it are verified by repeated observation, then it is well on it’s way to being accepted as a valid theory.

In science, a theory is a mathematical or logical explanation, or a testable model of the manner of interaction of a set of natural phenomena, capable of predicting future occurrences or observations of the same kind, and capable of being tested through experiment or otherwise verified through empirical observation। -Wikipedia

The important thing to understand here is that in science, a valid theory must be verified by experimentation and/or observation। If not, it is still a hypothesis.

Law: A statement that summarizes the results observed in an experiment that is repeated many times by many different scientists. A scientific law is widely accepted as true or as a fact.eo.ucar.edu/webweather/glossary.html

The key phrase here is, widely accepted. In science, a Law is really a well-verified theory. Most people usually accept it as a fact, but generally, there is room for the discovery of new facts to alter it. So, even though we may say, “The Law of Gravity”, really, it isn’t as immutable as we assume.
The vitally important thing to realize here is that we humans are the ones who have given these principles the title of law। God never said that they are laws! So, who are we to suppose that God himself is constrained by these so-called laws?

This is where we make tremendous error! We say we believe that God created the universe, as the word declares, but we try to explain how he did it by forcing God to limit His limitless power and boldly declare that God could not have possibly broken the LAWS OF PHYSICS to do this! God must have been limited by the speed of light। He certainly couldn’t possibly have done something that was against the 2nd law of thermodynamics, or the laws of motion, or the law of gravity…etc.

Let’s make sure we’re clear about this; who said that these principles were laws? Did God? No! We said they were laws, not God! I think it is more logical to believe that if they are really laws, they are so because God made them! God is not held in check by the things he created!

Consider a programmer, when he writes some code for a program, he is giving the computers running his program some rules to follow i.e. some laws to govern their operation. But he himself is in no way bound by those laws. If he doesn’t like how the computer operates following his laws, he can easily change the laws, because he is their creator! In the same way, these so-called Laws of Nature don’t control God; he creates them and uses them to do his will. But, at any time he can circumvent them in any way he chooses!

Lets look at some biblical examples of God defying the Laws of Nature:

Jos 10:13 And the sun stood still, and the moon stayed, until the people had avenged themselves upon their enemies। [Is] not this written in the book of Jasher? So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven, and hasted not to go down about a whole day.

Isa 38:8 Behold, I will bring again the shadow of the degrees, which is gone down in the sun dial of Ahaz, ten degrees backward। So the sun returned ten degrees, by which degrees it was gone down.

Here are two amazing examples of God defying the laws of nature! Do you have any idea what it would take for the sun to stand still? Do you realize what it would take to start it moving again at the proper rate? Right now, because of the rotation of the earth, you and everything around you are moving toward the east at about 1000 mph! What do you think would happen if God suddenly hit the brakes? Yet, this is exactly what would have to happen in order for the sun to stop moving across the sky! The earth would have to suddenly stop rotating! This is totally impossible according to the laws of physics! But God did it anyway! What about the other example? In Isaiah 38 the sun not only stopped, but it went backwards! The earth stopped, went in reverse for ten degrees and then stopped again and started back up again!

These are two mighty examples of the ability of God to do things that are against the “Laws of Nature”। He is able to do this because he created and enforces those laws. It is utter folly to try to understand these events within the confines of Natural Law because it is the Supernatural God using Supernatural Power To accomplish His will in the earth!

Even more amazing, both of these events were in response to request from men, on the earth! As we see in these examples, man through faith in Him, can experience and utilize this power when their purpose(s) lines up with His will!

I challenge you to lay aside your faith in mans knowledge, and experience the joy of learning about God's universe without the limitations of finite minds! The bible says that if you have made Jesus your LORD then, “You have the Mind of Christ” (1 Cor 2:16)! Jesus' mind is not finite! If you have the mind of Christ, then neither is yours! When we begin to really understand this, then we begin to understand what Jesus meant when He said,”and nothing will be impossible unto you” (Matt 17:20)!

If you haven't made Jesus your LORD, it is SO easy! Ask Jesus to be Lord of your Life! Believe that he died for your sins! Believe that God raised him from the dead, and go, tell others what you believe! Find yourself a faith filled bible believing church and become an active member of the family with them! Finally, let God transform you by renewing your mind (Rom 12:2)!
